Here's my new mix for Chrimbo 2010. A full 3 hours of 44 delicious tunes for your delectation, I've been meaning to do this for a while - it's all about LOVE. It's girly and it's cheesy and I love it.

A mixture of Soul, Disco, Funk, House, Rock'n'Roll and Swing with a few cheeky edits from Amnesty Drug Bin thrown in for good measure. If you don't like love-songs you will hate this mix. If, like me, you love 'em then this is the mix for you.

As usual it's all ready tagged for gapless play in iTunes in full 320 mp3s and can be burnt to a CD for the car. If you know me and you want an AIFF version let me know.

I'm running a COMPETITION with this mix. I will DJ for 1 night for free for the person who can name the most of these tunes - 1 point each for the name of the tune, the name of the mix and the name of the artist. There's 44 tunes, so a maximum of 132 points - if anyone gets that I'll also eat my hat and can-can naked down Whitehall with a bowl of fruit on my head. Jinty's Mix

This is a monster mix. Clocking in at a full seven hours and thirteen minutes and containing 109 tracks, it's an epic party's worth of top quality tunage. I did it for one of my very best friend's 40th birthday parties back in June this year.

Jinty's Party kicked off a summer of total and absolute madness for me, yet it has remained one of the top highlights. The mix stayed on loop in the end and went round nearly 4 times! You got to give it up for Jinty and his not wife Timi, they know how to put a proper party on.

Jints does a truly amazing Freddy Mercury impression and the Queen tracks in the middle were timed to come up at midnight where the man himself did a very special guest appearance. Priceless.

This mix contains parts of other mixes available here, notably A Cup of Double De-Edit Breaky Disco Funk and BirthdayCD 2001. In a new departure for me it was mainly mixed using Traktor, so maybe I'm finally becoming a slight DJ after all. There's a few of the old crafty computer edits thrown in for good measure too.

FairyLove Peace CD

This is a compilation which I put together to celebrate the concept of Peace for my dearly beloved friends at FairyLove.com. I could bang on for hours about these guys, about the love they spread and the happiness they bring into every life they touch, but I'm not gonna do that here. Balearic-ish

This mix owes an enormous debt of gratitude to two people, without whom I'd never have grown to love these tunes so much. Steve Proctor and Sean Johnston are both DJs of the very highest caliber and I'm saying a big thank-you to both of them right here.

There's got to be countless former patrons of Steve's club from '89 and '90 who will recognise the great majority of these tunes and it's a testament to Steve that they still sound so good today. It seems funny to look back so lovingly at being packed into a tiny basement fitness centre with no bar or air-con and everyone totally dripping through with sweat - happy full days. It was the closest I ever came to having a religion - weekly observance was a must.

It's Balearic-ish as a few of the tunes clearly don't fit with being called Balearic (at least not in my reckoning of the term), but I still think they're cool and grooving tunes and they fit in nicely with rest. There's four, can you spot them all? It's a giant edit rather than a dj mix - that's how I roll.
